Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
